The Candidate Consultant is responsible for finding, screening and interviewing candidates
and assessing suitability to recommend for interview. It requires management of incoming

candidate applications, proactively sourcing new candidates and conducting telephone pre-
screens and interviews. In addition, the role requires communicating with unsuccessful

candidates in a timely and professional manner.

 Perform the various stages of the resourcing process from sourcing to offer/rejection
 Advertise all vacancies within company guidelines both externally and internally to our existing database of
candidates
 Manage candidate applications including responding to all successful and unsuccessful applicants
 Keep up-to-date with innovative resourcing strategies, including social media
 Gain a clear understanding of your speciality/specialities and ensure your knowledge is kept up to date
 Adapt too and consistently use new technology to support business growth. (text kernel, Sirenum etc)
candidate management
 Source candidates via various methods including database searches, social media, job boards, cv
searching, head hunting
 Identify candidates who match the given brief
 Receive applications via the Randstad website, review and respond to candidates accordingly
 Receive applications from a variety of external job boards
 Conduct pre screen interviews with candidates and ascertain suitability for interview
 Review candidate pre-screen answers
 Invite candidates to telephone interview, including providing all necessary information
 Sell the benefit of registering with us to suitable candidates
 Stay in touch with candidates throughout the sourcing and screening process to ensure „best in class‟
experience for our candidates
 Reject unsuitable candidates in a way that represents the brand
 Keep up to date with changes in methodology of candidate attraction
 Ensure clear and professional communication standards at all times with internal and external clients

 Control process from receipt of booking requirement from branch network through to offer/rejection
 Effectively validate booking requirements with the booking consultant
 Challenge internal clients where necessary and ensure relationship with them is at all times open and
honest
 Provide regular status updates to all relevant stakeholders
 Ensure candidate team is seen as a true service provider to their clients

 Accurately maintain efficient administrative procedures utilising the Randstad front office ICT system.
 Execute effectively all aspects of administrative tasks relating to the candidates.
 Generate the expected management information and understand what it is saying.
 Ensuring the efficient execution of all core processes within the branch in line with company policy and in
compliance with latest legislation, providing an excellent service to external clients and candidates.
 To undertake any other tasks, deemed to be appropriate to this role, as directed by a member of
Management.
 Comply with company policies and procedures including business priniciples, misconduct reporting
procedure and competition law compliance policy to meet Randstad‟s expectations concerning professional
