Position Title: ROS Recruiter

  • Discuss all new vacancies with the Randstad hiring Consultant to ensure a full understanding of the requirements for the role such as background, experience, skills, and qualifications needed
  • Conduct an initial search within our internal candidate database by advertising the role and completing searches
  • Advertise vacancies within company guidelines externally when needed through job boards 
  • Manage candidate applications including responding to all successful and unsuccessful applicants
  • Complete a short-list of suitable candidates and present them to the Randstad hiring Consultant within a set timescale
  • Keep up-to-date with innovative resourcing strategies, including social media
  • Gain a clear understanding of your speciality/specialities and ensure your knowledge is kept up to date
  • Adapt to and consistently use new technology to support business growth (Text Kernel, Sirenum, etc.)

candidate management

  • Source candidates via various methods including database searches, social media, job boards, CV searching, headhunting
  • Identify candidates who match the given brief
  • Receive applications via the Randstad website, review and respond to candidates accordingly
  • Receive applications from a variety of external job boards
  • Reject unsuitable candidates in a way that represents the brand
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in methodology of candidate attraction
  • Ensure clear and professional communication standards at all times 

client management

  • Effectively validate booking requirements with the booking consultant
  • Challenge internal stakeholders/clients where necessary and ensure relationship with them is at all times open and honest
  • Provide regular status updates to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure candidate team is seen as a true service provider to their clients

administration and reporting

  • Accurately maintain efficient administrative procedures, utilising the Randstad front office ICT system
  • Execute effectively all aspects of administrative tasks relating to the candidates
  • Generate the expected management information and understand what it is saying
  • Ensuring the efficient execution of all core processes within the branch in line with company policy and in compliance with latest legislation, providing an excellent service to external clients and candidates
  • To undertake any other tasks, deemed to be appropriate to this role, as directed by a member of Management
  • Comply with company policies and procedures including business principles, misconduct reporting procedure and competition law compliance policy to meet Randstad’s expectations concerning professional conduct
